Common uses:

  • Diluted to soothe minor burns

  • Massage diluted over body for tension and stress relief

  • Add to mouthwash (a few drops) to alleviate mouth infection or inflamed gums. Do not swallow

  • Diluted add to bath to treat bronchial congestion, hacking cough, and pulmonary inflammation

  • Inhalation of diluted oil also alleviates congestion

  • Head lice destroyer -add tea tree (small amount) to shampoo

  • Add a few drops to laundry to keep clothes smelling cleaner and keep storage bugs away.

  • Add 10-20 drops of diluted tea tree to 2 tbs. carrier oil and 1 tbs. aloe vera to repel insects.

  • All purpose cleaner: 2tsp tea tree to 2 cups water in spray bottle. This mixture also controls mold growth

  • Add to biodegradable dishwash soap for sanitized germ-free dishes

  • Tiny drop, undiluted, on blisters or insect bites

Blends well with: Cinnamon, clary sage, clove, geranium, lavender, lemon, myrrh, rosemary, marjoram, and thyme.

Everything I have purchased from Roots Apothecary is excellent including the Tea Tree oil. Smell is amazing and I am confident when I add to my cleaning routine. Also I mix it with some of their lavender and patchouli oil, with a little witch hazel and water and voila a perfect linen and room deodorizer that not only smells great but is antimicrobial too!
